Health and Safety Training - what you need to know

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) reports that each year over 1 million people are injured and 200 people are killed in accidents at work. Over two million suffer illnesses caused by, or made worse by, their work.

Providing Health and Safety Training will help you to:

  • ensure that your employees are not injured or made ill by the work they do
  • develop a positive health and safety culture
  • meet your legal and ethical duties to protect the health and safety of your employees

The law (Health And Safety At Work Act 1974 etc) requires you to provide whatever training, instruction and information is needed to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of your employees.
